Hi Ladies and Gents, I am writing tonight with the hopes that someone out there would be able to point me in the right direction. After receiving a formal complaint about my hammering (whoops) I am looking into "big girl grommet setting tools". 

I have stumbled upon a vintage foot press from C&C Button and Trimming Co.  I have researched a little and found a patent from 1956-ish.

I was sent a photo of the dies this evening and I am interested to know where I might find addtl. setting dies with this long of a shank.  I have tried looking at various sources and unfortunately most do not show pictures of the individual dies so that I may compare.  Or the best, they show you one picture for all the different die types!!!

P.S.  I also came across a second foot press located in Long Island for only $50!  The old man seemed a bit cranky over email, but if you're interested I'll pass on his email!  $50 can't be beat, even if you have to drive a couple hours and deal with a crotchety old man (they always sweeten up in person, don't they)  ; )

I redid the smokey eye with Cinderfella yesterday and instead did it tonight on only one eye and with Blue Flame from the same collection. I think the shape looks a lot better--but I want your input!!

I'll post a pic of what I did yesterday and then tonight's look -- I apologize that I don't have on ANY other makeup other than on one eye--I really wanted to try again but only do one eye, so you've been warned!

I bought that top and skinny jean. I'm having a hard time deciding what "footwear" will go with that outfit. No high heels or flats. Possibly boots or Vans KVD Slips? Any ideas?

Okay, I am having a boring freezing night and I started organizing my makeup - leading me to discover items I forgot about! After sorting through my pigment samples, I found a mini tube of clear lipgloss I'd received as a free gift with a purchase that I'd ignored, because who cares about clear gloss. But pigments + clear + a few empty sample jars I found and I was inspired!

My camera batteries are charging so I'll take a picture later to post. I had a LOT of fun. Mixed a bunch of Rose pigment, a bit of Silver Dusk irisdescent powder, a bit of Blonde's Gold, a very small amount of Electric Coral, and a generous amount (but less than Rose) of Golden Lemon. I also had a sample of glitter from Aromaleigh, which is awesome micro glitter similar to reflects - it's a pink called Valentine, so I added a lot of that too. Holy gorgeous - so much shimmer and sparkle!

Okay, but obviously using chopped-off q-tips is not the best way to mix and apply these! I want to make more, but I don't want to gunk up my good Sephora lip brush. Can someone direct me to a source for disposable lip brushes or doefoot wands? And hey, while we're at it, spatulas and sample jars if I can get them from the same place too! Also, if anyone wants to sell me some pigment samples in lippie-friendly colors, I'd love to add a few more. Golds and browns as well as pinks, roses, reds etc would be lovely. I'll let you know if I have them already.

Does anyone else enjoy doing this? Want to share fun combos you've created?

I'm trying to figure out what to do with my long hair at special occasions.
My hair is baby fine, and hip length. I normally just curl my hair and do a dramatic part to the side. The style looks good, but I'm wondering if there something else I can do with my hair.
I'm thinking of an up-do, but I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for.
Anyone have any ideas, or links that might be helpful?

My problem is that while I have a lot of hair (strands and length), it doesn't look like much.

I guess I could curl it, and pin it up...

Any links or pictures/ideas you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

I never had this problem until I bleached my hair last summer (professionally) and ever since that time, every time I dye my hair black...my head hurts when I put the dye on..and my hair falls out(especially the front part of my head)..but after 3 months..it grows back out.and I can tell it grows back in because there is so many little flyaway hairs. what the??????? i really like my hair blue black though...I just use regular hair dye at home.I don't leave it in for too long..cuz its not very pleasant..so my hair goes back to brown within a month
what do I do??

I know someone recently posted about curling hair but I wanted to ask myself.
I've got curling irons but they don't curl my hair good enough because I have to put the barrel up my hair about three times for it too be about 3cm away from my scalp and this takes forever and all the curls are not the same up the same piece of hair.
I was going too buy some heated rollers but someone told me they don't work on long hair?? (mines umm I think waist length and not very thick but not thin)
I don't want to buy lots of different kinds of curlers just for them not to work and I was wondering what everyone on here uses?
Ohh and I don't want to use the overnight ones.. And I want quite big curls. Thannnks :)
